Pavel Dobrev was born on the 05.07.1979 in Zaporozhye, Ukraine. He graduated from the Zaporozhye art school in 1995. He continued his education at the private art studious and was taking lessons from his father Piotr Dobrev. Pavel Dobrev mostly works with easel painting, his main genre is landscape and still life in expressive Impressionism Member of the Ukrainian national painters community since 2008. Pavel Dobrev started his creative activity since 2000. He took part in many art exhibitions such as: October 2000 - Personal exhibition in Zaporozhye philosophy club. April 2001 - personal exhibition in Regional library named by Gorky, Zaporozhye city. April 2003 - Member of the regional exhibition, which took place in the painters community hall where he was awarded with the certificate for his achievements in art by the (OGA culture management.) May 2003 - Member of the All-Ukrainian exhibition in Lviv and Zaporozhye painters exhibition in Kiev. July 2003 - member of the exhibition in Zaporozhye art museum. October 2003 - member of the All-Ukrainian exhibition in Kiev. November 2003 - personal exhibition at the Ukrainian regional painters community, where he represented his works made in Lviv. October 2004. - member of the All-Ukrainian exhibition in Kiev. Went on the art trip to Crimea (Sevastopol city). April 2005 - winner of the regional youth exhibition which took place at the regional painters community at the All-Ukrainian art exhibition in Kirovograd. October 2005 - member of the All-Ukrainian exhibition in Kiev. March 2006 - member of the Bulgarian painters exhibition at the regional painters community in Zaporozhye. April 2006 - member of the All-Ukrainian exhibition in Kiev and Dnipropetrovsk. December 2006 - member of the charity auction in Zaporozhye. (Regional philharmonic named after Glinka). January 2007 - personal exhibition at Zaporozhye photo club. April 2008 - joins the Ukrainian national painters community. May 2008 - All-Ukrainian exhibition in Dnipropetrovsk. December 2011 - personal exhibition at the "Skryzhal" gallery. February 2011 - personal exhibition at Zaporizhia photo club. Pavel Dobrev has been working on the series of still life works and taking part in regional art exhibitions from 2012 till nowadays. His works were published by the Ukrainian National Academy of Science and Institute of Encyclopedic Studies in 2009 and by Museum Gazette of Ukraine in 2010.
